|This pic has nothing to do with my post, it's just fun.|
This Tuesday I am sharing my top ten hints for cooking with children. Remember I am a mama to ten children as well as a from-scratch cook, so I know of what I speak. Stop over HERE and see what's up. Also this week, I am looking for other mothers who would like to watch "Nourishing Our Children" together with our kids. If you are local to Denver, let me know. I wrote about the importance of communicating our food values to our children HERE. I have two giveaways going on right now, too. The first is a sponsored giveaway by Tropical Traditions for their awesome palm shortening and this is over HERE. The second is a little gift for one lucky reader from me in honor of my blog-aversary and you can find the link by following me on Twitter. I will tweet it once a day. I am also working on a post about educating ourselves and our daughters on the very real risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome. Also behind the scenes, we are doing a little experiment with coconut water and blood pressure. My husband has borderline blood pressure and high stress job. He's drinking it every day to see how it helps. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes. Last but not least, Katie over at Kitchen Stewardship is asking people to remember to sharpen their knives. It is a real safety issue and I hope you'll stop by and familiarize yourself with the topic HERE.
Tomorrow I will be back discussing party food and children and how I try to
navigate the SAD mine-field of buffets, so stop back and see what I have cooking!
